Master Yoda

$2,500.00
sold out

This item is a fan-made replica prop hand puppet based on the Yoda character from the movie The Empire Strikes Back. He is life-sized with a height of roughly 66 cm.. I made him similar to the way the one in the movie was made using foam latex. In addition, I made the entire body instead of using padding so he feels more like a real creature.

Also included is a belt with one pouch, the "blissl" he wears around his neck in ESB and a replica cane. His robes are natural cotton and I chose to make them less distressed than it is in the movie but could more wear and tear could be added.

His fingernails are made out of acrylic, as well as his eyes and his hair is a natural yak fur. He has a set of teeth inside of the mouth that are cast out of latex so the teeth move with the mouth and still hide the puppeteers hand.

He is made from a high grade foam latex that is soft but still reasonably durable. The paint is sealed with a clear urethane to protect it from damage and the foam is tinted green so even if you manage to tear him, (which is unlikely under normal circumstances) it won't be noticeable.

He is the perfect compliment to a costume for conventions or fan films or even just having as a display.

Last year I was privileged to work on V/H/S/99. I designed and built the majority of the creatures from the final segment of the film. This weekend I received this screenshot from the directors of V/H/S/99 announcing that I was nominated along side s
Now that @deadstreamfilm is set to be released on @shudder, I can finally share some #bts of the project. This is the skin and some of the inner peices for the puppet head of the Mildred character for the final showdown. Without giving too much away,
@deadstreamfilm is screening down in @sxsw this weekend! This is one of the characters I created for a hilarious scene but I don't want to give too much away other than to say it's a fabricated suit and had three heads for three separate functions; a
Krampus photo backdrop I put together for Christmas. This is a fabricated display at the Layton Hills Mall for photo ops. I cobbled together castings of existing characters I sculpted for the chest and face. The rest was fabricated by hand.

This is a work in progress shot of the prototype fabrication for the humanoid spider semi-animatronic / puppeteered character debuted at @evermorepark. It was intended to represent a human that is anguished over being turned into this creature.
